As a composer from Eugene, Oregon, I want to share my passions for playing piano and the wildlife in my state through the creation and publication of a piano repertoire book that includes the following:
Fifteen original piano pieces based on animals native to Oregon
Original artworks by Emily Poole & info about each animal
Varying degrees of difficulty (equivalent to Faber Levels 3-5)
Solos and teacher duets
Finger diagrams, exercises, warm ups & teacher notes
An emphasis on musicality & environmental conservation
